Experiences of Cappadocia

     Contrary to known; Cappadocia is not a real place in nowadays’ The Republic of Turkey. It’s just an imaginary territory which includes several cities such as Nevşehir, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Aksaray, Niğde & a part of Yozgat in Central Anatolia Region. The size of the Cappadocia Touristic Region is approximate 25.000km².

This touristic region hosted lots of volcanic eruption since between 12-10 millions of years. On that time, the region was under the water. When lavas and other volcanic ingredients combine with water, they cooled off and sank to the bottom. That process lasted millions of years until 2 millions of year again & again. After the eruption process ended, the erosion process just began. While the soft rocks erode easily caused by wind, water & climate changes, hard rocks not. As a result of those processes, the rock formation or as a famous name “Fairy Chimneys” just came out.

While you are visiting inside of this paradise, you may see perfectly carved rocks for a human living since Pre-Historic Age, lots of natural heritage sites, hundreds of Orthodox Churches in one of the biggest open-air museum in the county & get lost in cultural values.
