Where are we heading during this programme?

Abandoned Village of Cavusin; this village is the quaintest place in Cappadocia, located between Avanos Town & Goreme Village. Like many other places in the region, it once used to be a thriving and close-knit community of Turks and Greeks living side by side. Unfortunately, the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923, ended that when Greek citizens were forced to return to their homeland and vice versa in 1924.

Pigeon (Guvercinlik) Valley; the valley is named for the many pigeon houses or dovecotes carved into the rocks and cliffs.

Red (Kızılvadi/Kızılçukur) Valley Walking; approximately 1 hour walking throughout Red&Rose Valley, having rest among the valley to offer you some organic things to get refresh.

Love (Akvadi/Aşk Vadisi) Valley Walking; this valley offers a love nest for young couples who meet secretly from their families. You can also see the best example of the white colour given to the rocks by potassium and calcium minerals in this valley. (approximately 20 mins short walking)

Avanos Town; situated on every two sides of Red River (Kızılırmak), Avanos is one of the main tourist centres in the region. This fantastic town is famous for the pottery, silk, wool & carpet weaving, wine cultivation and agriculture. This wonderful place hosting countless civilizations reflects the visitors both natural and human-made masterpieces today.
